According to Hammer, when you mop the floor, it is transformed into hot lava.

Most of the time. It’s been quite a while since I had the urge to grab him by the scruff of the neck and throw him outside to fend for his lazy self.

My fatso, Enzo. He's a good cat, too. He freaks out every time I sweep.

I’m a dog guy, but I got a cat to help take care of a scorpion problem I have. The rescue cat I got ended up being awesome. He has become the boss of my two pitbulls.

Ella used to attack the vacuum cleaner, a holdover from when her cage at the rescue was vacuumed out. Now she just glares at it and flees.

Cats can take care of scorpions? I would think they would be pretty dangerous to cats.

Cats are pretty much the only way to get rid of scorpions. Scorpions don’t actually pack that much of a punch. It’s just painful. Their fur is usually thick enough to keep them from actually getting stung, but he got one the other night and it definitely stung him in the face twice. It didn’t phase him, and he ended up killing it.

Cats must have relatively high thresholds for pain. Although my orange tabby boy walked across a hot stove once and burned his paw pretty good. Limped all pitiful for a couple days.

Animals usually have a much higher pain threshold than humans. One of my pitbulls burned his paws up pretty bad on a hike once, and he just kept going. I noticed they were all blistered when we stopped for water, but he didn’t let on that he was hurt.
